A Special Light at The Mill Stream, Crowbrough Warren
New Mill on Crowborough Warren was a large corn mill built in 1840. The mill ground the flour for Queen Victoria’s wedding cake. The mill eventually fell into disrepair and by the 1950’s the mill pond was breached and all that is left is the stream running away from the Warren onto the River Medway.
